Quaich is a Scots rendering of the the Gaelic word "cuach" or cup and in keeping with fine Scottish tradition, quaichs are used for whisky or brandy. In the 19th century Sir Walter Scott dispensed wee drams to his guests in silver inlaid quaichs.
This solid pewter Quaich with Celtic engraved handles and Robert Burns motif is perfect for Burns night dinner - for that "guid auld Scotch drink!"
A traditional Highland cup, used by chiefs to both welcome and bid farewell to their guests, this quaich is beautiful and traditional.
Quaichs make very beautiful and unusual gifts and nothing makes a gift more special than an engraving. This product can be engraved, using Times New Roman font.
