I had no idea that buying a tea kettle would be so interesting, but I'm glad that I put in the time to check out the pros and cons. As it turns out, many metal kettles can leach out chemicals in the water and are unsafe. This kettle not only impressed me with its craftmanship, but also because it's safe to use.

AA Crenshaw Yellow is not vibrant enough

I was looking for a brighter yellow. This one is a dull antique looking yellow. Was very disappointed. It is not as bright as this picture.
