Chantal ceramic bakeware, bowls and countertop items are made of the highest quality stoneware. Each piece is crafted to ensure excellent heat distribution and promote even baking. This pan includes new ergonomic handles for easier grip and improved comfort. Our non-porous semi-gloss glaze won't react with foods, so flavors remain exactly as you intended. The bottom of each piece is hand-sanded for a smooth, no-scratch surface. All pieces clean easily in the dishwasher and are oven, microwave and freezer safe. I was devastated when my previous Chantal casserole dish got a crack in it after about 15 years. It was my favorite! I was so happy to find it was still being made in the same red color. It arrived much faster than I thought, and I used it soon after. Love it!
