Fern wood Seated figure with arms crossed, wooden eyes and teeth, 14-5/8 x 5-1/4 in. Carved figure from the Philippines, primarily on the island of Luzon. These wooden figures are said to guard the entrance to the village and promote the power and wealth of the Ifugao people.
