‘America’ after William Gay Yorke (1817-1892, NY) Framed oil on canvas depicts the schooner, “America” from the Newport Yacht Club who won the first  America’s Cup around the Isle of Wight in 1951. Unsigned. C. 1860. Custom tilted frame. Work has not been re-lined but has patch repair verso, presents well.
