Trudon was founded in 1643, on the threshold of the reign of Louis XIV,Cire Trudon is the oldest Candlemaker in the world still activetoday.

Throughout the 17th century, the manufacturer became theRoyal Wax Manufacturer and official supplier in the Frenchcourt, then to Napoléon Bonaparte. Cire Trudon received aGold Medal during the 1889 Universal Exhibit as a reward forthe outstanding quality of its candles and wax.

The candles are the Maison Trudon emblematic products. They are manufactured at the Trudon workshop in Normandy using unrivaled know-how inherited from master candle makers.
