Caddis Fly Rio Toothy Critter Tapered Saltwater Leader

The Toothy Critter is a tapered leader of stiff nylon attached to a tough, bite resistant wire shock tippet. It is ideal for Bluefish, Barracuda, and similar toothy species. Its powerful butt and taper design aids in casting large flies.This 7.5 foot leader is available in two wire configuration choices: 1.) A nylon coated single strand steel wire (silver) with a snap link, or 2.) A supple nylon coated braided wire (bronze) you can knot. Each option is available with 15 lb, 20 lb, 30 lb and 45 lb wire strength bite tippet. The 15 lb and 20 lb wire leaders are attached to a 20 lb class tapered leader, while the 30 lb and 45 lb wire bite tippet options are attached to a 30 lb class tapered leader. With all these options, the Toothy Critter is a tough, customizable leader for going after a wide variety of toothy fish.
