Bohemia Design Hand Embroidered Market Basket Peas

Our original garden peas illustration has been embroidered onto our small palm leaf market basket by the skilful hands of women artisans in Morocco. Apparently peas are one of oldest plants to be grown in the world, and who to this day can resist a freshly podded garden pea!

A sustainable and eco-friendly handwoven tote basket, this design is a handy size for shopping trips and home storage. A combination of the time-honoured, traditional techniques of weaving and embroidery make these baskets a true celebration of slow craft.

Please note | Our palm leaf baskets are handwoven in the round and feature a 'step' on the rim where they are tied and finished. This is intentional and not a flaw, but rather a part of the design.
