The sun-loving Cosmos, beloved by bees, are a favourite cottage garden flower. Their name derives from the Greek ‘kosmos’ a reflection of their neatly ordered petals reflecting the harmony of the universe. The world contained in a flower!

Our original cosmos illustration has been embroidered onto our small palm leaf market basket bag by the skilful hand of women artisans in Morocco. A sustainable and eco-friendly handwoven tote basket, this design is a handy size for shopping trips and home storage.

A combination of the time-honoured, traditional techniques of weaving and embroidery make these baskets a true celebration of slow craft.

Please note | Our palm leaf baskets are handwoven in the round and feature a 'step' on the rim where they are tied and finished. This is intentional and not a flaw, but rather a part of the design.
