Sterling Silver Money Clip Dollar Sign Vintage B.A. Ballou

Vintage sterling silver dollar sign shaped money clip. I believe this is from B.A. Ballou Co. silver makers, going by the mark but I’m not 100% positive. Looks in great condition for age but I am not an expert. Weighs approximately 0.20 or 5.7 grams. I would guess it’s from circa 1950s but I’m not clear on that as well.
