Our Camperas Sandals in Mustard color are made from full grain leather, tanned with vegetable oils and waxes. Full grain refers to hides that have not been sanded, buffed, or snuffed (as opposed to corrected grain) to remove imperfections (or natural marks) on the surface of the hide. The "grain" also remains allowing the fiber strength and durability.Handcrafted in Antigua Guatemala by skilled master cobblers who love their craft. Our cobblers still use their hands to cut, pull, hammer, and glue the different steps; this process leaves a human signature on each pair, making them a true heirloom.Full grain leather.
