The White Clan Aran Poncho has a central panel of moss filled diamonds and trellis, flanked by chevrons and single rows of honeycomb. The trellis represents the stone walled fields of the Aran Islands. The honeycomb stitch symbolises work and the diamonds symbolises a wish for wealth. This beautiful Aran poncho has been knitted in the traditional báinin (pronounced ‘baw neen’) colour, the natural white of the wool. It comes to you complete with a Clan history and crest. It is made of 100% pure new wool, is water repellent and breathable.
