Petrified wood is the result of permineralization which turnswood to stone, a process which takes place when wood becomes buriedunder sediment or volcanic ash and is preserved due to lack ofoxygen.

Each table top is a totally unique slice of stone and will varyin appearance from a light cream to a dark brown finish, supportedby a wrought-iron frame.
